Ganesha and Karthikeya revolving the earth

Once upon a time when lord Ganesha and lord Karthikeya were gossiping and the question came to there power lord karthikeya asked to his small brother "brother you have more power than me?"Then ganesha told to brother karthikeya that

"Big brother you are elder than me so definitely you are more powerful than me" but after the praising also lord karthikeya refused to agree it.

And finally lord karthikeya agreed.But he had a bet! Both lord ganesha and himself(ld kartikeya) should go for revolving the earth and who arrives first after revolving the earth are powerful than other.

lord kartikeya leaved kailasa on the peacock for revolving the earth after lord kartikeya's absence on kailasa lord ganesha like a cool guy continued playing with a mice(mushakraj, king of all mice's)who was his best friend.

seeing the strange behaviour of lord ganesha, lord shiva and lordess parvati asked lord ganesha why you were not leaving kailsa and not arriving to take part in the event.

seeing the excitement of lord shiva and lordess parvati to know the answer lord ganesha answered "Mother I had read in the vedas and puranas that you are the symbol of earth.

So if I start revolving you instead of revolving the earth

Then I will be the winner of this event and lord ganesha started revolving lord shiva and parvati and completed the bet before lord kartikeya and become the winner.

Like that way lord ganesha has proved his intellegence and dignity apart from being smaller than lord kartikeya.

when krishna stayed at gurukula.The mother of gurukula who was respectively known gurumaa

told krishna and sudhama(best friend of krishna) to bring pieces of wood for ashrama (at ujjaini)for cooking food.

Then krishna told gurumaa that then we both have to go soon because the rain is about to come and if rain arrived the wood will become wet and it will not burn

and krishna and sudhama both went to jungle and started collecting wood.And the rain arrived.

Then krishna told sudhama to have rest on the branches of a tree and like that krishna and sudhama went near the tree to take rest.

while taking rest krishna became sleepy and slept for a long time.And after some time the rain came to an end and krishna also waked up.

krishna became hungry and asked for some channa which was given by gurumaa(mother of gurukul)when leaving to jungle for collecting wood.

But sudhama lied to krishna that "I think that it had fallen on the way"sorry krishna.But really Sudhama ate it when he became very hungry.Then both returned to gurukula.

And when gurumaa asked sudhama whether he had given little bit of chaana to krishna or had eaten it alone!

Then krishna told gurumaa that

"Gurumaa I remained hungry sudhama ated it alone!"then gurumaa became angry and coursed sudhama that

" In which way krishna remained hungry in the jungle in that way you will suffer with hungriness for your lifetime.
